Lullabies and Mudpies – Tagging Open for Holiday Sale

lullabies

Please allow me to introduce you to our newest sponsor, Lullabies and Mudpies.  I am so excited to be working with Lullabies and Mudpies!  Lullabies and Mudpies is a kids and teens seasonal consignment event that serves the Pace/Milton/Pensacola areas!  Sales are held in the spring and fall and the Holiday sale is coming up!  If you have never been to a consignment sale, I recommend that you give them a try.  Lullabies and Mudpies has a team of people at every sale to ensure that the items being turned in for sale are of good quality.  At the last sale I attended, I was able to pick up a few things at a low price for my kids.  Two items still had the tags on them!

Do you have stuff that you have been meaning to get rid of still sitting around the house?  A few days ago, online tagging opened up for the Lullabies and Mudpies sale.  I participated in the Holiday sale last year.  It is a great way to clean out the winter clothes as well as the toys.  Becoming a consigner is easy.  Sign up on the Consigner page, follow the directions and start tagging.

The preparation process can be a little time consuming but I found it to be well worth my time.  I was preparing items for sale and tagging them for about eight hours total.  When we hold a garage sale, I usually spend several hours preparing, at least five hours at the garage sale and then another few hours cleaning up, running to Goodwill, etc.  I only put about 45 items in the holiday sale and I made as much as I did at my last garage sale.  And if that wasn’t reason enough, I didn’t have to sit in the hot sun all day!  If you don’t have time to get your items ready for consignment yourself, consider their Concierge Service where someone else will do most of the work for you for a small fee!

The kids and I have already started cleaning out gently used toys and clothes (some still have tags…ugh!) that are still in good condition to put into this sale.  See a list of acceptable merchandise before you start tagging.

Not interested in consigning but you would like to shop?  The Lullabies and Mudpies holiday sale will be held from November 3rd to November 5th and November 10 to November 12th.  See the calendar of events for specific date information.

Will we see you there?

The Pouty Princess Consignment Sale

It is time for The Pouty Princess (and Little Princes, too!) Winter Consignment Sale.  The sale will run from October 20 to October 22 and will be located at 2415 N. Pace Blvd, Pensacola, FL.  The Pouty Princess specializes in quality seasonal clothing, maternity clothes, baby equipment and toys.  Consignment sales are a great way to update your children’s wardrobe without breaking the bank.

I have not been to or participated in The Pouty Pruncess Consignment Sale however I have had luck with other sales.  I used one sale’s proceeds to help with Christmas a few years ago.  If you want to be a consignor, head over to the website, sign up and get tagging!  Drop off dates begin October 17.  If you have been collecting the Yoplait lids for Cancer Awareness Month, bring them to the sale.  The owners of The Pouty Princess will be mailing them off in bulk.

You can also connect with The Pouty Princess on Facebook.

Palafox Market in Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza – Pensacola, Florida

On May 1, the Palafox Market had its opening day.

This week’s Mystery Photo Monday was from the Palafox Market.  When we first woke up Saturday morning, we were not going to head out there.  The weather was gloomy and the kids were still fast asleep.  Once we got up and moving, we decided at the last minute to ride out to check it out.  I am so glad that we did!  The opening day started small but it was worth going out there.  The art and produce was so much fun to look at and we got some great deals on yellow squash!

We also bought a yummy chives plant.

Things to Know Before You Go:

  • If you see a parking space on the side of the road, take it.  The farther you drive, the less likely a space!
  • Arrive early if you plan on produce hunting.  We got there around 9am and there were already lots of stands out of eggs and some produce.
  • Bring cash.  This is something I always forget.  A few vendors were accepting checks, but it is more courteous to bring cash (in smaller bills) if possible so that they don’t have to worry about checks.
  • Bring your reusable shopping bags.  I didn’t notice whether the vendors were handing out plastic shopping bags with purchases because we brought our own bags.  I would definitely at least throw a plastic bag in your pocket for your purchases.

The Palafox Market is located in Martin Luther King, Jr. Plaza on N. Palafox Road in between Chase and Wright Street.  They are open every Saturday from 8am to 2pm. Connect with Palafox Market on Facebook or sign up at the website for email updates.

Don’t forget to enter our latest giveaway: MLChapman Photography.  Stay tuned for our adventures in strawberry picking and we are also going to spotlighting Infant Swimming Resource this week.

Pensacola Family Vacation

The Pouty Princess Consignment Sale

You still have time to stop by the Pouty Princess Consignment sale today or tomorrow.  I have not been to this sale.  Visit Pouty Princess for more information, location and hours.

Lullabies and Mudpies Consignment sale is coming up soon.  I will be posting later this week about my experience as both a shopper and a consignor.

Lullabies and Mudpies Consignment Sale

Lullabies and Mudpies is a local consignment sale that serves Pace, Milton and Pensacola.  I must admit that I have never been to this particular consignment sale.  I have been to others around town, but haven’t made it to Lullabies and Mudpies.  Today, I have been scurrying around the house trying to find items that I can donate in this sale.  I just heard about this sale today from a friend and it was the last day to get your items ready for consignment.  Even though you may have missed out on consigning your own items, be sure to stop by for the shopping experience.  For this special December event, Lullabies and Mudpies is accepting toys, women’s, boy’s and girl’s clothing, Christmas decorations and so much more!

Entrance to the sale is always free but this year they are accepting donations of canned goods for the local food pantry.  I think it is awesome anytime a donation goes towards supporting our own community.

The schedule is as follows (according to the website):

Open to the Public:

December 5-12 (closed the 6th and 7th)

Saturday, December 5, 9:00 am-7:00 pm

Tuesday, December 8, 9:00 am-7:00 pm

Wednesday, December 9, 9:00 am-5:00 pm

Thursday, December 10 (NEW ITEMS), 9:00 am-7:00 pm

Friday, December 11, 9:00 am-7:00 pm

Saturday, December 12 (many items 50% off), 9:00 am-3:00 pm

When the sale is all over, I will post my experience as both a consigner and a shopper!  If you have a positive experience with Lullabies and Mudpies and would like to share them here with us, feel free to leave a comment in this post!

Be sure to check the website for more details.  Lullabies and Mudpies is held at the warehouse next door to Helping Hands Thriftstore on Highway 90 in Pace across from Chilis and Target.
