Here is a list of Spring Break camps going on next week!  With everything going on with the Coronavirus, please make sure to check with the facility before showing up to ensure they are still open.  And if you know of any that we missed, please let us know! 
First City Art Center, Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm

Each day of camp will include fun hands-on art activities. Participants will have the opportunity to explore different materials and learn new techniques. Teachers will offer projects with flexibility, allowing participants the opportunity to make self-directed artistic choices in specific mediums. Projects and guidelines are provided, but artistic freedom is encouraged!

Camps offers as single days, or full week. 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

STEAM Creative Camp

March 16-20 | 9am-3pm
Ages 5-9 & 10-14
Tuition: $165 PMA Family Members / $195 non members

Join the Pensacola Museum of Art for a week of creative STEAM-based activities! Inspired by our Spring exhibition, STEAM2020, campers will explore various materials and processes tied into science, technology, engineering, and math. Artists will explore the galleries to gather inspiration for their art projects.

Aftercare option available: $8 a day / $40 a week. Please contact Caitlyn Cooney at (850) 432-6247 to book your aftercare dates.

KIDS Spring Break FLY Camp 5 to 14 years old, Vertical Pole Studio, Navarre, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

SPRING BREAK - FLY CAMP Ages 5 to 14 years old.
Have a kid? Send them to Fly Camp where they can learn the basics of aerial arts, physical fitness, and more! No experience necessary! We will give your child top-notch instruction in a noncompetitive environment that teaches confidence, communication skills, perseverance, self determination, and pride, as well as how to be a fabulous aerialist.

Register your creative and curious young scientists for hands-on exploration through the winter break. Enjoy the theme “Science Sampler,” which will allow campers to dive into a different topic each day – from video game design, mineralogy exploration, and rocket engineering, there are a variety of subjects to experience. Grades 1 – 6
Camp is available as half day (9 AM – 12 Noon or 1 PM – 4 PM) or extended day (9 AM – 4 PM). Half day students can add a lunch hour from 12 PM – 1 PM.

SEA TURTLE SCIENCE
When: March 16 - 17
Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM daily
Grades: students in grades 1-3
Cost: $100 (Includes a goody bag)
Description: Strap on your flippers and get ready to discover life as a sea turtle during our mini-camp. Learn how lighting, marine debris, and beach furniture effect sea turtle nesting habits. Participate in sea turtle relays and explore the Sound. Discover what a sea turtle's favorite food is and become a turtle vet to solve the mystery of an injured turtle.
Your child will need to bring sun block, a snack (no peanut products, please), drink and water bottle, water shoes (or old tennis shoes - something that can be worn in the water), beach towel, and a change of clothes.

SHARK SCIENCE
When: March 16 - 17
Time: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM daily
Grades: students in grades 1-3
Cost: $100 (Includes a goody bag)
Description: Local, non-local, and extinct sharks; learn about their feeding habits, where they live, how powerful they are, and why you don't need to be afraid of them! Includes a shark dissection and field explorations.
Important Info: Your child will need to bring sun block, a snack (no peanut products, please), drink and water bottle, water shoes (or old tennis shoes - something that can be worn in the water), beach towel, and a change of clothes.
