Places to Have a Child’s Birthday Party in Pensacola – Updated 7/16/2013

*This list was updated on 7/16/13.  If there is something that you think we missed, please leave us a note or send me an email at julie at pensacolawithkids dot com.

We have had birthday parties at a few of the places and have attended parties at a few of the places.  That being said, there are some on this list that I love, some that were ok, some I haven’t been to and some I might never step in again.  I am not going to give an opinion because that is what it is…merely a list of places you might want to look into if you are throwing a birthday for your child!

If you have a party location to add to this list, please comment or send me an email and I will add your suggestion.

You can also rent the top floor of the Wentworth Museum for a birthday party. We did this for my son’s 5th birthday and had a pirate party there. You can’t have food or drink, so what we did was reserve the gazeebo in Seville Square for a hour before the scheduled time at the museum and had cake and refreshments there, then walked down to the museum.

Roger Scott Pool & Cecil T. Hunter Pool, no longer do party reservations. You can have your party there if you can get everyone in before they are FULL and you get there early enough to hold a table. Recommended you get there 20-30 minutes before pools opens for session.

Oops alley is still the most well rounded experience we have found for our children. Their Birthday pack includes a private room, arcade tokens, and bowling. Extra for Cosmic bowling but worth when you hear the kids scream and get all fired up when it gets turned on.

Also they have an upscale bar and pool hall for parents to hang out in while the kids go nuts

I heard on the radio (commercial) that Italy’s Finest Pizzeria off Davis Hwy. does birthday parties. Not sure what they do. They serve alcohol but do advertise as being family friendly. They have a website and facebook page but no info about birthday parties so it may be something new they are experimenting with.

Gulf Coast Gymnastics does birthday parties too… being indoors is SO much better than outdoors when its 98 degrees outside at 70% humidity! My boys thought it was great that they could jump and run all over. We had boys and girls ranging from 3 years old to 8 years old (10 total) and it worked great.
