2011 New Year’s Eve Celebrations in and around Pensacola

This New Year’s Eve, I am fairly certain we will be spending it at home.  We are exhausted from all of our activities from the month of December.  We will be planning a quiet night of games, sparkling apple cider, and family time but if you want to hit the town, here are some New Year’s Eve activities:

New Year’s Eve Fireworks – Ring in the New Year with a fireworks show at midnight at the end of the Gulf Pier.

Pensacola Pelican Drop – Downtown Pensacola – There will be children’s activities beginning at 5pm and ending with a special countdown at 8pm.  There will be live music, vendors and more and the pelican will drop at midnight.  See the Pensacola Pelican Drop website for parking information, a schedule of events and more.

Unfortunately, I just saw this article in the Santa Rosa Press Gazette that says that First Night Santa Rosa will not happen this year.

Did we miss a New Year’s Eve celebration?  If so, leave us a comment.
