Both of the big community pools have been open with their summer hours since May 28th. As always, follow the links or call ahead to be sure that the hours and prices are correct. The information for each pool is as follows:
Cecil T. Hunter Pool - 200 E. Blount Street
Monday through Friday
Session 1 (open swim) 10:30am-1:30pm
Session 2 (open swim) 2pm-5pm
Saturday and Sunday
Session 1 (open swim) 12pm-3pm
Session 2 (open swim) 3:30-6:30
Daily Admission: Adults (18 and older) $2.25; Children (3-17) $2.25; Under 2yo Free
Roger Scott Pool - 2030 Summit Blvd.
Seven Days a Week
Session 1 9am to 12pm
Session 2 12:30-3:30pm
Session 3 4pm-7pm
Daily Admission: Adults $4; Children (3-17) $3; Under 2yo Free
Things to Know Before You Go:
- Once the pools reach capacity, they close the gates and no one is allowed in. They can get crowded quickly during the summer time so I advise you get there on time or a few minutes early to ensure you get in before they reach capacity.
- Food and drinks are allowed at the pool but must be eaten in designated areas.
