Tallahassee, Florida is only about three hours from Pensacola. If you are really brave you could make a day trip of it but we prefer to stay overnight if possible. To continue the PWK’s Summer Road Trip Celebration, we are thinking about Tallahassee, Florida! We haven’t done all of the activities on this list but we hope to soon! Here are 10 things to do with your kids in Tallahassee.
- Alfred B. Maclay Gardens - This state park is a beautiful place for a picnic. The kids will love to wander up and down the paths and see the different flowers.
- Visit Florida State University - Even if you aren’t a Seminole fan, the kids will still enjoy wandering up and down the grounds of the university.
- Visit The Mary Brogan Museum and learn something new.
- Take a glass bottom boat ride at Wakulla Springs State Park. You might even see a manatee!
