Frugal Friday Tip – eHub Pensacola
Posted in Just for Fun, Places to Eat on May 21, 2010
If you like to eat out, stop by eHub Pensacola before you leave the house! I read about eHub a few weeks ago and we decided to give it a try. When you visit the site, there are several ways to find discounted certificates. If you go to the Save 50% section, and then select Food Thrift Certificates you will see what is available. At the time I wrote this, there were 16 restaurants listed including Chik-Fil-A, Capt. Joey Patti’s Seafood, Angus and 3 Sisters.
Purchasing a gift certificate is easy. You select the certificates that you want to purchase, check out, and receive the instructions via email. I believe the only pay option is PayPal. You can still make a purchase even if you don’t have a PayPal account. Once I had decided on my purchase, I had a hard time finding the Cart/Checkout button…scroll to the bottom of the page and you will find it there!
Once your purchase has been made, you will receive directions on how to print and fill out the certificate properly. The first certificate I ordered never showed up in my email inbox. After a day or so, I emailed the sales contact and heard back within an hour. eHub Pensacola remedied the situation and sent me the certificate information. Before I wrote about it here, I decided to order a second certificate this afternoon to make sure it worked properly and had no issues. The certificate and information immediately arrived in my inbox.
I ordered two $10 certificates for $5 each to Chik-Fil-A. We went through the drive thru tonight and had no issues redeeming the certificate.
Things To Know Before You Go:
- Be sure to follow all directiuons. You don’t just print the certificate and go. There are some steps you need to follow.
- You will not get change for money leftover on the certificate. I ended up only using one certificate tonight because my total was $16 and some change. I decided to save the other certificate so that I am able to redeem it in full. That is four bucks that I would have been throwing away!

I agree. http://www.Ehubpensacola.com
