Gulf Breeze Zoo Reopens

Yesterday I posted about the activities that are going on this weekend and one of my readers (and good friends!) asked about the Zoo. The Gulf Breeze Zoo celebrated its soft opening a few Wednesdays ago. According to some of the news articles that I read, there are a few more animals in the petting zoo, some more hands-on exhibits and a fresh look. The zoo will celebrate its grand opening sometime in the beginning of April. When we eventually make it out there, we will let you know what we think!
Things to Know Before You Go:
- The new website is http://www.gulfbreezezoo.org/. The old website, http://www.thezoonorthwestflorida.org/, is not accurate. I did notice at the time of this post that they had cleared the majority of the information off of the site. I am not sure which address they will be using in the future. At this time, use this site for informational purposes.
- Ticket prices start at $12 for adults and go down from there.
- The Zoo is open from 9-4 daily.
