West Florida Railroad Museum – Milton, Florida

Thanks so much to Alicia for emailing and reminding me of this great outing in Milton!  The West Florida Railroad Museum is located in Milton off of Henry Street.  We went last year to explore with our two train lovers and for a little photo shoot of the kids (I am always looking for fun places to take the kids’ pictures!)!  There are lots of trains to explore, a little room with a miniature city chock full of trains running through it, a small gift shop and a little train that the kids can ride in!  You can become a member if you would like and they accept donations to help keep the museum up and running.  In October, they are going to have a big centennial celebration!  If you time it right, you just might see a train fly past you as you explore.  The train depot is right on the real railroad tracks and it was the highlight of my son’s visit!

Be sure to check the website or call ahead because the hours of certain things (the gift shop and train rides for example) may vary.
